Miss Olsen

I haven’t written a blog in a few days because I have been extremely busy hanging out with Hayley from Paramore at Soundwave (kidding not at all)
I was at soundwave and now recovering from such a hot and bad event.
Anyway I have made some time from my recovering to post these amazing photos of Ashley Olsen.

She has been out of the spot light for a while especially while her sister has been in and out of clinics with an eating disorder but in the mean time she started up her fashion label The Row.
Her new style is more loose, slouchy or borrow-from-your-boyfriend fabulous.
These photographs are amazing and she looks extremely beautiful in them and I would love to know who the photographer is.

Thats all

Mr McQueen

He consistently delivered collections of extravagant creativity, the type of stuff where you just look at it and try to absorb it and you can't believe a person made this.

This morning it was announced that Alexander McQueen's brand will go on, and his previously scheduled Fall 2010 show will be presented since most pieces were already finished. Now, many are discussing whether or not this was the right decision, since Lee Alexander McQueen is irreplaceable as a person and designer.
My question, since he left a few suicide notes (as per the police report) shouldn’t we be looking at those for an answer? He obviously knew what he was doing, he did make the decision to end his life, leaving the fate of his design legacy in the hands of those around him....What do you think?
I was personally amazed by the shoes he designed, Who honestly has the mind to come up with such a beautiful piece of art work for Women to wear on their feet.

On a completely different note I would like to comment on this ridiculous designers style and choice in models.

While looking for images of the new "Uni look" for this season i came across these photos. The school girl chic looks more like school girl cheap or Gossip Girl on crack, whichever analogy you prefer. Not to mention that the models look like they are men and have heroin addictions…

My Humps

JEANS? "I’m not sure I even own a pair”
“Most women’s bodies are so much better suited to dresses"
Today the 29 year old Zooey Deschanel has started a style craze – thanks to her retro-chic wardrobe in the love story “500 days of summer” (which I shall be watching tonight once I have completed writing another pointless blog)
While the movie is entirely contemporary Zooey’s character, Summer only ever wears 50’s and 60’s styles, all in shades of blue to emphasis her own extraordinary blue eyes.

I would like to go back to her first quote referring to women wearing jeans.
I completely agree with what she is saying, jeans don’t suit all women, yes they look amazingly hot on giant tall, size 6 models, in Jimmy Choo shoes but reality is, how many of us look like this?
The truth is in comparison we just look like stubby short girls, in unflattering clothes.
I myself own one pair of jeans, that are taken out of my closet on very rare occasions, my friends never see me in jeans so when I am in them they know I am purely wearing them in the anticipation that I will catch the eye of my beloved boyfriend

In conclusion I would like to suggest that this winter instead of putting on those jeans that take half an hour to usually get into, (because this seasons style is so skinny) why not op for a cute skirt  or dress with stockings, to show off your lovely figure, and stand out in the crowd with a different look that can furthermore be dressed up with accessories and a cute tee.

Tavi

Tavi is a 13 year old blogger, who has inspired me to make this pointless blog.
I must also mention she has the most amazing style for a 13  year old.
Oh and i may have forgotten to mention she is friends with Galliano

Everything’s Just Wonderful

As I flip through the pages of the latest Vogue issue I find myself commenting and critiquing the latest trends presented by this seasons top designers. After hours of feeling like Anna Wintour I decided to put my thoughts to some use and begin a blog.
(Also its an excuse to be opinionated, and feel cool pretending I know what I am talking about when it comes to fashion)
I currently wonder if anyone will really want to take the time out of his or her day to read what makes me feel all high and mighty in the fashion scene.

My first blog is going to consist of all things I love.
Note!! My philosophy is you can never draw enough attention to yourself.

FASHION + PHOTOGRAPHY

No one does Fashion photography quiet like the one and only Annie Leibovitz
As a young inspiring photographer she began working for Rolling Stone magazine and wound up in the fantasy world of fashion, becoming one of the most successful fashion photographers of our time.

No other photographer (besides myself maybe) can walk into a room and make his subject matter feel so at ease.
Mario Testino has the ability to capture the raw and honest personalities of his subject matter. It's always illustrated in his photographs and one of the main reason I aspire him as a photographer
Both photographers take fashion photography to a whole different level always putting fashion in environments no one else could even think of.

AUDREY HEPBURN

Do I really need to justify why I love her??
There is no one else like Audrey, and no one who owns a better wardrobe than what she had.

James Millynn, Marc Jacobs, & Karl Lagerfeld

James is my best friend and his opinion on what I wear is more important than anyone else’s in the world.
He’s completely honest, has an envious personality that’s even illustrated in his own sense of style, surprisingly not gay and is the only person I know besides myself who is so self absorbed with themself.

Marc Jacobs wore a skirt for a whole year, and still looked amazing.
Obviously a good enough reason to buy his amazing designs and fall in love with him.

Guilty feelings about clothes are totally unnecessary. A lot of people earn their living by making clothes, so you should never feel bad - Karl Lagerfeld

If you are a muse for Chanel you deserve a section in my blog
The award for my favourite artist, and style icon for this year goes to Lily Allen
She is wonderful.
